How to register on pListing

To have a your own listing website, follow these easy steps to start the subscription:

1. Select a plan:

  • Go to pListing website https://www.plistings.com
  • Click on the ‘Free Sign Up’ link on the top right.
  • Click on the ‘ Try it for free’ button.

Fill out your basic company info

 

2. Fill out your basic company info:

  • Enter your Full name.
  • Enter your company name.
  • Enter your email address.
  • Enter your Subdomain (If you are not using your own web address (such as www.smith-realtor.com), you can use our web address and provide a unique name for your site by using ‘subdomain’. For example, you could create a web address for your listing web site such as www.smith-realtor.plistings.com. In this case, you would enter smith-realtor in this field.
  • Enter password and confirm password.
  • Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

3. You will receive an email confirmation. Check your email, and click the ‘Verify your email address’ button.

4. We will send you a second email about your app information with a link to your website.

5. Start to personalize your listing website built by pListings.com

Note: You can cancel your free trial anytime during your first 30 days and never be charged. If you choose not to cancel, your account will not be charged until your free trial ends at the end of the 30 day period.

Change Design

Change Design

You need login into your admin account to change Design (the login information for this account is provided to you via email at the end of the pListings.com subscription process). The default theme is ‘Alpha Theme’ (It is selected on ‘Current Design’ section). You can change to another one by following these below steps:

  • Click on Designs on the left menu.
  • Click on the ‘Use This Theme’ button at your desired design.

The selected design will be placed on the ‘Current Design’ section.

The design of the theme is applied on every page of your your listing website.

Create listing

Create listing

You can create listing by clicking on ‘Create Listing’ button on the top left.  

  • Select a listing category to use for this Listing.
  • Click the ‘Save’ button.
  • Enter the Title on Title textbox, Description on Description textbox,…
  • Enter the data for other fields.
  • Click on the ‘Upload User Document’ button to upload the files for the listing record.
  • Click on the ‘Upload Listing Pictures’ button to upload the images for listing record.
    • You can add description for the image by clicking on icon  under image.
    • You can delete the uploaded image by clicking on  icon under image.
    • To reorder the images: click the ‘Reorder Pictures’ button,  Drag and drop  icon of the image to new position, then click the ‘Done Reorder’ button.
  • Click on the ‘Save’ button.

Your new listing will be created and visible on your listing website. The listing is created with Public Listing status as default.  

Note: A listing with Public Listing status will be viewable to all website visitors, as opposed to Private (or Pocket) Listing, which is viewable to only those that you share the listing.

Customize your site

Customize your site

You can customize your site such as changing your logo, your site banner images and title at Home page of admin site and to select different design (theme) for your site.

  • Enter the Site Title at Site Title Section.
  • Click on the ‘Save’ button.

The site title on your website will be changed with new name.

  • Click on the the ‘Create’ button at Home Banners section.
  • Enter the title and description to be shown on your banner image and click on ‘Upload image’ button
  • The ‘Display Order’ field will be auto filled, it is the order of image in the slider on home page. You can change the this number.
  • Click on ‘Save’ button

After uploading image successfully, the images are saved automatically without clicking on the ‘Save’ button.

Notes: If you select a theme that supports slideshow on the homepage, you can upload more than one images here. The image order will be up the order that you set in Display Order field. Otherwise, only the newest uploaded image will be used.

How to get Google captcha and add it to site

reCAPTCHA protects you against spam and other types of automated abuse. Here, we explain how to add reCAPTCHA to your site.

To start using Google captcha, you need to sign up for an API key pair for your site. The key pair consists of a site key and secret key.

Step 1: Open the URL https://www.google.com/recaptcha on your browser. Click on ‘Get reCaptcha’ button

Step 2: Login with your google account such as gmail

Step 3: Follow the below steps:

  • Enter your site name in Label textbox,
  • Select ‘reCaptcha V2’ option
  • Enter your own domain
  • Check on ‘Accept the reCAPTCHA Terms of Service.’ checkbox
  • Click on ‘Register’ button

You will get the Site Key and Secret Key.

Please copy and paste them in corresponding fields on Setting page of your admin site.

You also can update the social URL or meta keyword or meta description for your site or other settings on this page.

  • The setting ‘Amount use decimal point’: if the turn on the setting, you can use the price or number field with decimal point when create listing.
  • The setting ‘Show the “Private Listing Login”’, you can turn on or off showing of ‘Private Listing Login’ link on the top menu of your site
  • The setting ‘Show Related Listings’, you can turn on or off showing of ‘Related listing’ section when viewing a listing detail on your site.

Customize Pages

Customize Pages

You can edit the pages such as About Us, Contact Us, or Agent Detail page by clicking on Pages on the left menu and click on icon  under image. icon.

Change info such us Page name, Title, Content, banner, then click on ‘Save’ button.

On this module, you can add new page to be shown on the top menu by clicking on ‘Create Page’ button.

Note: The content of Agent detail page will be taken info from the Contact Info page. Thus, you can change the content on that page. You can only edit the page name, title on this page only. Agent Detail page is the page shown when we clicking on listing record your site, then click on your full name link.

Reorder listing

Reorder listing

You can change the order of listing on your listing website by clicking on the Listing > Reorder on the left menu and follow the steps:

  • Click on ‘Reorder Listing’ button
  • Select the desired category.
  • Drag the icon   on designed listing to the desired position.
  • Click on the ‘Save’ button.

The position of listing will be applied on your listing website.

Set Private (or Pocket) Listings

Set Private (or Pocket) Listings

Listings will be set with Public Listing as default. However, if you want this to be a Private (or Pocket) Listing then do the followings:

  • Login admin site with registered account.
  • Go to Listings tab on left Menu.
  • Click  button on Action column to the Listing you want to set it  to ‘Private’.
  • In Listing Detail, scroll down and check on ‘Private’ checkbox.
  • Click the ‘Save’ button.

The private listings will not be visible to visitors on your listing website. Only invited user(s) can see private listing. To share this listing, click the ‘Invite’ button, enter the emails of the users that you want to share this private listing, then click the ‘Send’ button.

The invited user will get an email with link to your site to see this private listing. Or at anytime, the user can click the ‘Private Listing Login’ link on the menu on your website then enter his email address to login and view these private listings.

Update your Contact Info

Update your Contact Info

Click on ‘Contact Info’ on left menu. In here, you can update your biology information such as: Name, Phone Number, Address, Education etc. and upload image avatar by clicking on ‘Upload photo’ button.

Note: Edit Primary Email

If you want to edit Primary Email, click on  the ‘Edit’ icon, the popup ‘Change email’ is shown, enter your new email and click the ‘Submit’ button.

After clicking the ‘Submit’ button, there will be an email confirmation sent to you. Click the ‘Confirm’ button to apply change new primary email.

Click the ‘Change Password’ link on the left menu. Enter the current password, then the new password, and enter it once more time in the ‘Confirm Password’ field then click the ‘OK’ button.

View & Edit your billing information

View & Edit your billing information

You can update the billing information by clicking on ‘Your Account’ on the left menu, click on ‘View & Edit your billing information’ link.

Click on ‘Edit’ button on the top left. Then, make any change and click the ‘Save’ button to save the new information.

View & Edit payment methods

View & Edit payment methods

You can add new card by by clicking on ‘Your Account’ on the left menu, click on ‘View & Edit payment methods’ link, then clicking on ‘Add Card’ button.

  • Enter the Name on card, Card Number, Expiration Date, CVC and ZIP field.
  • Click on ‘Save’ button.

Your card information is saved and shows on this page.

  • Click  the   to collapse or expand the card information.
  • Click the  icon or the link ‘Change Info on this card’ to update the card information such as: Name on card, Expiration Date.
  • Click the  icon or the link ‘Replace this card’ to replace the current card to another one.

You can billing history by clicking on ‘Your Account’ on the left menu, click on ‘View your billing history’ link.

Discount Coupon

Discount Coupon

You can apply Discount coupon by clicking on ‘Your Account’ on the left menu, click on ‘Discount Coupon’ link.

  • Enter the Discount Code
  • Click on ‘Submit’ button

Your discount code will be applied for next invoice.

Cancel subscription

Cancel subscription

You can cancel the subscription anytime by clicking on ‘Your Account’ on the left menu, click on ‘Cancel subscription’ link.

  • Click on the ‘I’ll take it’ button, your next month subscription is FREE.
  • Click on ‘No thanks, continue to cancel’ link to cancel your account. You have to enter your pListings account password and click the ‘Submit’ button to cancel your account. Your subscription is cancelled and your website will still be active until the end of the subscription period. You can optional enter the reason on the textbox and click on the ‘Submit’ button to help us know the reason to serve you better in next time.

At the end of subscription period, your pListing website is not available to user anymore.

  • You can reactivate subscription by clicking on the ‘Reactivate subscription’ link (this is only valid until the end of the subscription period)
